Skiing & snowboarding
All of the lifts in Saalbach are only 3-5 minutes away from the Hotel Post on foot.
The Saalbach-Hinterglemm ski region offers you more than 200 km of the best prepared descents with 55 of the most up-to-date cable car and lift systems.
Snow parks, race tracks, carving tracks, moguls and floodlit slopes provide diversions on and alongside the slopes.
Winter hikes
For all those who want to experience and enjoy winter away from the slopes, Saalbach Hinterglemm offers 22 winter hiking routes with a total length of 140 km.
Free guided hiking tours are also offered.

Tobogganing
The three toboggan runs (Reiterkogel, Spielberghaus and Maisalm) in Saalbach Hinterglemm offer you 2-3 km of pure tobogganing fun.
Toboggans can be rented at each track!
You can go uphill either on foot or in the gondolas.
Mountain Attack
Mountain Attack is the toughest cross country ski race on the planet.
The participants in this night-time event have to cover 6 peaks, 40 kilometres of track and a 3,008 metre difference in altitude.
More than 800 athletes take part in this spectacular event, and the fourteenth round will be taking place on 13th January 2012.
The starting point is the town square in Saalbach – directly in front of the Hotel Post!
Snowmobile-City
